Series guide

What is a chemical event series?

Compare recurring chemical exhibitions, conferences, trade shows, and summits. Each series keeps upcoming and historical editions connected without replacing their individual event records.

Reviewed by the ChemExpoHub Editorial Team

A chemical event series is a recurring exhibition, conference, trade show, or summit published under the same event brand across multiple editions. The organizer may return to the same city, rotate between markets, or change venues while retaining the series identity. ChemExpoHub treats the series as the stable parent record and keeps every dated edition as a separate event page.

This distinction matters when researching an event. A series can describe the long-running brand, but registration deadlines, venue information, attendance format, and event status belong to a specific edition. Keeping those records separate makes historical comparisons possible and avoids presenting an old date as though it were the next event.

The current ISO 25639-1:2025 vocabulary standard “specifies terms and definitions that are commonly used in the exhibition and event industry.”— International Organization for Standardization (ISO)

How should I use an event series page?

Start with the next-edition card, then check the recurrence, organizer, primary market, and known edition count. Open the individual edition page before making travel or participation decisions; that page contains the date-specific venue, registration status, source links, verification notes, and organizer actions. The official website button provides a direct source when one is available.

How does ChemExpoHub maintain event series?

ChemExpoHub groups approved public listings by recurring brand and excludes cancelled editions from this directory. Editors review relevance, source quality, core event facts, and material corrections under the Editorial Policy. Organizers and attendees can report changes through the process described in the Correction Policy.
