Directory guide

How should I use the industry directory?

Choose the sector closest to your work to open a focused calendar of approved public events. Each industry page brings together relevant exhibitions, conferences, trade shows, summits, and technical meetings. From there, open an event record to check its current dates, location, attendance format, registration link, exhibitor opportunities, call-for-papers status, and supporting source information.

Events often connect several parts of the chemical value chain, so one event may appear in more than one sector. For example, a coatings event may also cover polymers, specialty chemicals, process equipment, sustainability, or regulatory topics. These overlapping labels are intended to improve discovery rather than force every event into a single category.

How does ChemExpoHub classify industry sectors?

ChemExpoHub uses an editorial discovery taxonomy based on an event’s subject matter, exhibitor profile, program, and intended professional audience. It is not a legal or official statistical classification. For comparison, the United Nations Statistics Division describes ISIC as “the international reference classification of productive activities.” ISIC organizes economic activity for statistics; this directory organizes events for practical discovery and planning.
